Terms & Disclaimer
Applies to your use of IRM BMKG.
IRM BMKG (Interactive Realtime Monitoring) is an independent, non-commercial, public-interest dashboard bringing together weather, climate, aviation, and marine data from BMKG and other open data providers, for education and situational awareness. This is not an official BMKG channel. Please read the following before relying on anything here.
Purpose
This is a public-interest, educational project built on data BMKG and other providers already publish openly, so the public can see and understand it on one interactive map. We don't sell it, don't run ads on it, and it isn't an official BMKG product or service.
Third-party data, as-is
Every layer comes from a credible public source (BMKG, NOAA/NASA, the US Aviation Weather Center, OpenSky, AISStream, Copernicus), cited on the Data Sources page, and shown without alteration beyond the processing described there. Some layers (air quality, wind, temperature) are weather-model output, not direct ground measurement, and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
Not an official warning
Earthquakes, severe-weather alerts, SIGMET, and similar layers here are shown for situational awareness, not as a substitute for official early-warning channels. For decisions involving safety, evacuation, flight planning, or operating at sea, always refer to BMKG's official channels (bmkg.go.id) and the relevant authorities, not what's shown on this site.
Right of reply & corrections
If you find data that's wrong, misleading, or that you'd like to raise as a concern, please tell us. Send a message via Threads DM and we'll review it in good faith, then correct, annotate, or remove it promptly.
Limitation of liability
Use this site at your own judgment. IRM BMKG and its contributors aren't liable for any loss or decision made based on the information shown here, including anything safety-related. For decisions that matter, verify against the original source.
Intellectual property
The code is open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Each dataset remains its source's own property and is used under that source's own license/terms; see the Data Sources and Credits pages.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use means you accept the current version.
We receive and review correction requests in good faith.
